PROJECT: Qv21 Technologies — Transportation Logistics App
ROLE:
Sr. Interactive Visual Designer at Mobiquity. Visual design lead on client Android app for Qv21 Technologies
KEY SKILLS / DELIVERABLES:
• Android native app design
• Mobile UI interactive visual design
• Micro-interaction design
DESIGN APPS USED:
• Photoshop (UI Designs)
• Indesign (Redline documentation)
PROJECT OVERVIEW / CONTEXT:
I served as the visual design lead on an Android app for Qv21, a transportation logistics and fleet operations firm. We developed an app that enables truckers to fulfill their mandatory requirements of logging their time and driving status and location while out on their deliveries. I collaborated on the UX design.
Represented here are several screens from their app. The top two screens indicate a couple of the on- and off-duty states in a progress bar that would appear above their current older app. The bottom three sample screens showcase the drivers’ ability to update their driving and location statuses and odometer readings.
Proposed color palette that would center on Qv21’s blue logo for brand adherence. App also leverages some of Droid’s native lime green and blue color palettes.

My proposed new UI designs with status bars to indicate their driving progress bar statuses above sample screens.
See below for examples of how this app's interface used to look to compare and contrast against my proposed visual UI and micro-interaction designs. Note that the progress bars above these screens are my proposed driving status dashboard indicators that I superimposed over screenshots of their original designs before I worked on them.
